Total Independent Community Inclusion kicked off the Summer Season with a festive and inspiring celebration, hosting a lively pizza party to honor the accomplishments of its consumers. The event recognized individuals for their growth and contributions throughout the year with special awards presented for participation, most improved, attendance, acts of kindness, and the highly anticipated “Consumer of the Year.” Each awardee received a certificate and a gift, celebrating their hard work and progress.
The room was filled with music, laughter, and joy as program participants enjoyed pizza, refreshments, and karaoke performances. The celebration was not only a time for fun, but also an opportunity to highlight the importance of communication and socialization skills in each participant’s journey. The highlight of the afternoon was the announcement of "Consumer of the Year", awarded to Justin Dillard-Long for his exceptional dedication to learning, consistent social engagement, and genuine kindness toward others. His achievement was met with cheers and applause from both peers and staff. This celebration is a reminder that growth comes in many forms, and we’re proud of every individual here and excited to continue building on these successes. The summer party served as both a joyful moment and a motivational milestone, encouraging all participants to keep growing, connecting, and achieving.

Total Independent Community Inclusion brought families together in a special way this 2025 Father’s Day by hosting a warm and joyful celebration honoring the important father figures in our consumers' lives. The event welcomed consumers and their guests for a meaningful afternoon filled with laughter, love, and community. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch accompanied by coffee, desserts, and a variety of refreshing beverages. The family-friendly gathering aimed to celebrate the bond between consumers and the supportive father figures who walk alongside them. Participants had the opportunity to craft personalized Father’s Day cards, which they proudly gifted to their loved ones. The celebration also featured a lively karaoke session where guests performed their favorite songs, adding fun and music to the heartfelt atmosphere. “It was a beautiful day of togetherness” shared one father. “Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces reminded us why we do what we do” shared a staff member. The event was a true reflection of TICI’s mission to foster inclusion and connection one family celebration at a time.
